Getting Over It

So my computer crashed.  Big time.  It happened over Christmas break and I was pretty devastated. It was completely trashed and I lost everything -- I didn't back it up.  My bad.  But, I now have a brand new external hard drive and I also did some retail therapy to help me get over all my lost songs on itunes. I'm pretty proud of myself for the upbeat, happy, and peppy tempos -- not my usual fare.

Here are the songs that I can't stop listening too:

Hey, Soul Sister by Train (I know this is so pop, so last summer, so Glee, but I LOVE it!)
Rolling in the Deep by Adele (Give it one listen and the base beat will have you hooked.)
Road to Ride by Joshua Radin (Love me some Josh)
New Slang by The Shins (I thought I had this on my iPod but can't find it anywhere.  This may be the 3rd time I've purchased this song.)
Waiting for the End by Linkin Park (I believe this might be considered a rock power ballad)

And my FAVORITE song of the new year.

The Cave by Mumford and Sons (Great, great, great band)

  1. Gotta love Josh Radin! Have you ever listened to the weepies? I think you might like them :)

  2. I certainly have. They are definitely in my music rotation. Well, they were.

  3. On your recommendation, I just purchased the Mumford & Sons album. Can't wait to try it. I typically use Podrunner.com for my exercise music. I'm a big fan of pacing music. I'm going to try the Mumford & Sons album with the BeatBurn and/or Tempo Magic applications on my iTouch4.
