Sometimes it's just best to lie
On the first day of class it's really not a good idea to tell me you'll be leaving early so you can attend the John Mayer concert. At least have the creativity to come up with some feasible excuse. It's also not a good idea to leave 2 hours before the concert begins. So infuriating.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure that I feel, in small part, your pain when I have no less than 8 piano students this month wanting to cancel their lessons but reschedule later b/c they have other sports or activities they are into and piano is just apparently not at the top of their list. Maybe if they knew there were 16 people waiting for lessons they might make it their priority.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the 100 degree classrooms. I saw on the news the other day that Canyons was getting like $700,000 in government stimulus to update their A/C and stuff. Will that help?
